I am running for office because I want to contribute to the redevelopment of our town that has experienced economic decline over several years. We are not alone. Cities and towns across these United States are experiencing the very same thing.
If elected, one of my priorities will be working with the city’s new economic development administrator to bring new businesses to Raytown, with a focus on family-owned businesses so we can have plenty of nearby places to shop and eat.
If we keep spending and sales tax revenue in Raytown, that will help pay for better city services without placing most of the burden on homeowners.
I believe that the breadth of work experiences, my community commitment and my drive will make a good addition to the board of aldermen.
Know that I strongly support:
- Safe neighborhoods and schools
- First responders
- Small business development
- Neighborhood improvements
